Family Law Participants
Protecting your parenting rights with knowledge and confidence
|
In custody or divorce matters, alcohol monitoring can be a sensitive and high-stakes requirement. One mistake - even if unintentional - can affect visitation, parental trust, and how the court views your role. MyCAMprogram helps parents and caregivers understand how to comply with monitoring, avoid false positives, and document their efforts in a responsible, credible way.
MyCAMprogram was created to support you - not embarrass you. You’ll learn how to manage monitoring devices around children, avoid exposure to risky products, and show the court or mediator that you’re taking your responsibilities seriously. It’s about protecting your relationship with your family and demonstrating that you’re committed to stability and safety.
|
What you'll learn:
- How different monitoring devices work (and how they can provide erroneous readings)
- Why false positives happen — and how to respond
- What medical conditions and medications may affect their results
- How to document, retest, and protect their evidence
- How to live with monitoring while preserving their dignity and rights
This isn’t about checking boxes — it’s about protecting you with real, science-based understanding.
Let's be clear: The vast majority of alcohol monitoring programs and devices are reliable and successful. They offer the participant the opportunity to stay productive, maintain family ties, and steer clear of custodial punishment. Overall, Continuous Alcohol Monitoring devices work, and work well. But, they are not perfect (no technology is) and more often than not, it is the program participant who creates the situation resulting in a non-compliance allegation, often through lack of understanding of the issues involved. We've seen that in dozens of court cases. We are here to change that situation.
